ECNP networks & Thematic Working Groups

New Thematic Working Group on Resilience

The list of ECNP Networks and Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) has been extended with a new TWG on 'Resilience'.

Christiaan Vinkers of the Amsterdam University Medical Center is the chairperson for this TWG. His views on the how and why of this new group:

"Every person is familiar with the waxing and waning of stress and adversity, as it is and has always been, an integral part of our daily lives as humans. Relatively little is known what drives stress resilience, and which biological, psychological, and environmental factors drive an individual’s resilience capacity. The ECNP Thematic Working Group ‘Resilience’ aims to combine knowledge, efforts and share data, but also join energies to emphasise the importance of fundamental and applied resilience research to funding agencies, the government and the general public."

ECNP Members: host a Brainstorming Session

A great opportunity to become part of the 2020 scientific programme!

We are currently accepting proposals for brainstorming sessions at the 33rd ECNP Congress taking place in Vienna.

These sessions are small focused interactive sessions organised by ECNP members on a topic of their choice. The organiser of the session and a second expert in that specific field of interest will provide a short introduction and then initiate the discussion with the audience. In total, nine sessions can be organised (three in parallel) on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning of the congress.
